Background Information


Mile High Management, Inc is a professional homeowner association management company.  Our company was formed over 11 years ago.  Our staff experience totals over 30+ years.  Our initial customers were condo associations in Sunriver.  In 2004, we modified our business strategy from being a condo association management company in Sunriver to become a homeowner association management company for Central Oregon.  We now have a mixture of clients including condos, town-homes and planned unit developments in Bend, Sisters, Sunriver, as well as the state of Washington.  While our objective is to expand the Company's business base we are firmly committed to maintaining a high level of service for all our customers.

Our Staff

Edward McCoy, CMCA

Edward is President of Mile High Management.  Edward provides leadership for the company. He has 16 years experience in condo, home and apartment construction and nine years in association management. Edward is also experienced in putting together budget drafts and estimating operational and reserve account item spending for each year. He has also completed courses provided by the Community Associations Institute to obtain his Certifications as a Certified Association Manager, while continuing his education in many related fields of study. Mile High Management, Inc. associations vary in many ways whether they are condos, town homes or single family homes. Edward's experience in adapting to situations in homeowner association management and reacting quickly as the leader and owner of the company keeps Mile High Management, Inc. as the leading local association management company.

Edward is a Veteran of the United States Military. He served 5 years on active duty and in this time he received 11 medals. To include but not limited to, overseas deployment, two outstanding unit medals and expert marksmen. His attention to detail, team concept, and untiring determination, quick and direct approach to solving problems are unmatched.

Sue Harber, CMCA

Sue has over 17 years of experience with homeowner's associations as an association manager as well as accounting staff. Sue brings to the Mile High team a demonstrated commitment and ability to work closely and effectively with board members as well as individual homeowners.

Sue is a Certified Manager of Community Association and continues to take courses to further her education.

Sue's experience allows her to assist the Board of Directors of associations in putting together budget drafts and estimating operational and reserve item spending for each year. She also helps by reviewing the capital reserve account items with the board yearly and makes recommended changes and additions as needed.

Sue has well developed written and oral communication skills. She is accurate, efficient and works well under pressure. She is very professional and pays close attention to detail.

Gabrielle Purdom

Gabrielle joined Mile High Management in January of 2010. She comes from 6 years of mortgage and finance experience. She has a great relationship and reputation with clients and peers. Gabrielle brings a great understanding in community service and solutions for problem solving.

Her dedication and thorough knowledge of the real estate industry has proved to be an asset to the growth of Mile High Management. Her business relationships within Deschutes County help ease the daily operations of the escrow side of Community Management and new property owners.

Gabrielle is in the process of getting her real estate license so Mile High Community Management will be able to provide a full property management service to our community and current managed associations.

Linda Bauer

Linda joined Mile High Management as a part time employee in September 2011. She has a strong background in customer service, office and employee management, and general management experience. Most recently, she was worked for a local HVAC company and thoroughly enjoyed working in the construction industry. She has strong verbal and written communication skills and can easily build long-lasting working relationships with internal and external customers and vendors. She looks forward to continuing her education in the near future as well as furthering her career experiences.

Linda moved to Bend over 14 years ago with her two now teenage sons, Jake and Jesse. Jake is a graduate of Mountain View High School in June 2011 and is enjoying a robust year of landscaping with the fantastic people at Botanical Developments. He hopes to join the military soon in a career of welding and fabrication. Jesse is now a junior and has a few exciting years of high school left!

Kim Griffiths

Kim came to us early summer of 2010. She brings excellent attention to detail, communication skills and customer service that is like no other. She has 10 years experience in the legal field working with the Alameda County Courts and 15 years as a bookkeeper, running a family owned tile business.

She has a love for life and her career. Kim is a great asset and addition to the staff at Mile High Community Management.

Kali Berk

Kali started working in the real estate industry in 2001 as a receptionist for a small mortgage office.  As the business grew, she was able to work in different facets of the real estate field as an escrow assistant for the escrow company, a loan processor for the mortgage company and a transaction coordinator for the real estate company. She later started working as an escrow assistant for a larger escrow company backed by one of the leading title companies in the United States.  Due to economical difficulties within the real estate trade, she had to make a change. That change came in beginning of 2010.  This was a blessing in disguise to her as she was able to treat her 3 year bout with Trigeminal Neuralgia.  She lives with her husband of 2 years and their dog, Kona, in beautiful Bend OR.

Kali comes to us with excellent customer services skills, an excellent sense of humor and an enjoyment for life and work. She is always one to step up and makes sure every board member and homeowner is well taken care of.
